As the Geratsdorfer company, we have been producing the customer and environmentally friendly signal anode for around 30 years. Signal anodes serve to protect domestic hot water cylinders (DHW) from often undetected corrosion damage and indicate from the outside when an anode change is necessary. This enables simple and regular checks without the hassle of dismantling or measuring the current of the anode.

Signal anodes replace conventional magnesium anodes (also called protective anodes or sacrificial anodes) and are suitable for all commercially available DHW cylinders that require a protective anode.
