Chain anodes are used when there are tight space conditions at the location of the storage tank, e.g. due to a low ceiling height. This makes maintenance of the storage tank and replacement of the sacrificial anode considerably more difficult and in some extreme cases even almost impossible.

Is there a difference in the protective function compared to a rod anode ?

With our chain anodes made of extruded magnesium there is no difference.
In contrast to cheap commercial cast iron chain anodes, our chain anodes consume themselves evenly.
